At the Annual Lakeview East Annual Meeting, we celebrate the successes of the previous year and present planets . At the Annual Meeting we also present and vote the new Board of Directors. Summer Sanitation & Manager Certification Classes

Thursday, March 26th & Thursday, April 30th – Ann Sather (909 W. Belmont)

Every year the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce offers an opportunity for restaurants to send their employees to manager certification and summer sanitation classes. These are held at a local business for a discounted rate.


Belmont Sheffield Music Festival

Saturday-Sunday, August 22-23– Along Sheffield, Belmont to School CANCELED

One of the first of many Windy City outdoor festivals, this iconic street party in the Lakeview neighborhood takes place just steps from the Belmont El stop.

Music highlights of this weekend happening include main stage performances by several of the region’s favorite tribute bands. Then there are deejays, karaoke shows and the fun acts that entertain visitors on a second stage.

Beyond music, there’s plenty of food, beer, wine and the handiwork of city and regional artists. Click here for pictures from the last Festival!


Gay Pride Parade & VIP Reception

Sunday, June 28th – See Parade Route  CANCELED

Join us at the 51st Annual Pride Parade on the North side of Chicago. The parade spans from Uptown, moving South through Lakeview and ending in Lincoln Park. The Chamber hosts an Annual VIP Viewing Party and has a float featuring local businesses.  Click here for pictures from the last Parade!


Annual Lakeview East Wine Stroll







October 3rd – 12-3pm – Along Broadway  CANCELED

The Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce partners with local businesses to host a community Wine & Sweets Stroll! Wine distributors will be sampling their wines inside retail businesses throughout Lakeview East. Lakeview East Festival of the Arts

Friday-Sunday, September 12 & 13th – Along Broadway, from Belmont to Hawthorne  CANCELED

We are sad to announce the cancelation of the 2020 Lakeview East Festival of the Arts. Due to COVID-19, we are unable to host the event, and have made this difficult decision in the best interest of the community.

The Lakeview East Festival of the Arts is Chicago’s premier fine art festival showcasing over 125 juried artists. The festival has been rated #1 Fine Arts Festival in Chicago, and #2 in the state of Illinois by AFSB. Each year the festival attracts over 45,000 attendees from all around Chicago, northwestern suburbs as well as patrons from all around the country. Every aspect of the festival, from artists to musicians to vendors and everything in between, is specifically selected by the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce in order to bring the best to the heart of Lakeview.

The Lakeview East Festival of the Arts features paintings, sculptures, photography, furniture, jewelry and more. These original pieces are for sale in a wide range of price ranges. In addition to the art, the Festival has become a center of activity for the weekend with live demonstrations, entertainment stages, family activities, local food and refreshments and an iconic garden oasis. Annual Lakeview East Tree Lighting






Monday, November 23 – 5:30 PM – Facebook Live

In lieu of our Annual Tree Lighting event, we will be broadcasting the lighting of the tree live to the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page at 5:30pm on Monday, November 23rd.
As the holidays approach, we look for hope for the future and spread our love to our families, friends, and community. This year, the Lakeview East Community Partnership would like to spread the love for our community by displaying your personal messages of hope on our Tree of Hope. Your message of hope could be sent to a person, business, or the Lakeview East community.
For a $20 donation to the Lakeview East Community Partnership, your message will be displayed on an ornament on the Tree of Hope. Your donation helps support local nonprofits and brings programming to our community.
