Urgent Call for Donations to Support the Migrant Crisis in Chicago
Mayor Brandon Johnson had declared a state of emergency in response to the current migrant crisis in Chicago. As the migrant crisis continues to unfold in Chicago, it is crucial that we come together as a community to support those in need.
The Lakeview East Chamber office as well as numerous community partners are stepping up to serve as a drop-off location for essential items that can greatly improve the lives of migrant children and adults. Your contributions can make a significant difference in providing comfort and relief to those affected by this humanitarian crisis.
By donating these essential items, we can bring comfort, security, and a sense of hope to those who need it most. Please drop off your contributions at the Lakeview East Chamber office (3138 N. Broadway Tuesday – Friday from 10AM – 4PM) or to any of our community partners, as your generosity will go a long way in making a positive impact on the lives of these vulnerable individuals. Together, we can stand in solidarity and show compassion for those experiencing these challenging circumstances.
