Whether you’re into bar hopping in Wrigleyville, going to a drag show in Northalsted, or having a gourmet prix-fixe menu on Broadway, there is something for everyone to celebrate the last moments of 2025 and the first moments of 2026. Barcocina: Barcocina has two different offerings for NYE! At 5 pm, join for a five-course plated dinner is prepared by the Barcocina Chef Team. The per-person cost of $80 includes wine or margarita pairings with each course and a champagne toast to begin the evening. Additional beverages are available à la carte, with upgraded wine pairings and zero-proof options also offered.

Chilam Balam: This award-winning Mexican restaurant is throwing a family-style dinner! Chilam Balam is offering a special five-course, family-style New Year’s Eve dinner on Wednesday, December 31st, with seatings at 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The menu begins with a Crab Pescadilla featuring chilpachole, queso fresco, and fennel salsa verde with potato, followed by an herb and baby lettuce salad with raspberry vinaigrette, radishes, and burrata. The third course is a piquillo relleno filled with goat cheese, a brisket nest, and sikil pak. For the fourth course, guests will enjoy a grilled New York strip accompanied by truffle salsa macha, chiles toreados, apple slaw, duck-fat mashed potatoes, tortillas, and an optional stuffed mushroom side. The meal concludes with a Tres Leches dessert served with ruby chocolate mousse and fresas con crema. The dinner is priced at $110 per person, plus gratuity and tax, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available upon request. Apres Ski Party at Duffy’s Tavern: Ring in 2026 with a snowstorm of fun at Duffy’s Tavern & Grille! Kirkwood Bar and Grill: Spring into the New Year at Kirkwood! The party starts at 9pm and goes until after midnight! If your vibe is good food, good drinks, and even better company- check this out. Shakers on Clark: Shake off all your stress from 2025! Shakers on Clark is open from 3 pm until 1:30 am. No cover! Karaoke will be from 9:30 pm until close, and there will be complimentary catered finger foods being passed around.

The River Kitchen + Bar: Party for five hours straight at The River! All you can drink for the entire night. The earlier you buy tickets, the cheaper they will be! Snag your ticket here.

NYE Dinner (à la carte)
Mordecai opens at 4 pm, with dinner available until 9 pm. Guests can enjoy the full menu along with festive specials created just for the evening, including:

• Seafood Platter for Two // 1/2 lobster, clams, smoked mussels, oysters, shrimp, scallop ceviche, served with spicy horseradish aioli, mignonette, and cocktail sauce

• Smoked Porterhouse // 24oz dry aged porterhouse, potato pave, chimichurri

Vintage Countdown to Midnight
The celebration continues late into the night with Mordecai’s signature Vintage Countdown to Midnight, returning after last year’s sold-out celebration. Guests will enjoy three vintage cocktails, chef-prepared canapés, and bubbles at midnight as they toast to 2026.

Tin Roof: Let’s raise the roof! NYE at Tin Roof is going to be filled with live music, by Sidestreets, Party Down, and a DJ. Included in entry is a glass of champagne at midnight and party favors. They are also offering packages, like VIP tables and booths. Get tickets here.
