Food Safety & Sanitation Manager Certification
Join us at the Center on Halsted for a Food Safety & Sanitation Manager Certification class hosted by the Safe Dining Association. This one-day, 8-hour course includes instruction and the certification exam, giving food service professionals the knowledge and credentials needed to safely oversee food storage, preparation, and service. The class is fully accredited by the Illinois Department of Public Health, Chicago Department of Public Health, Prometric, and ServSafe, and upon passing, participants will be certified in Illinois and eligible to apply for City of Chicago certification. All certifications are valid for five years. Select your preferred date to register.

Lakeview East Festival of the Arts
September 19th and 20th
Celebrate the 21st Annual Lakeview East Festival of the Arts, where more than 150 juried artists from across the country transform Broadway into an open-air gallery. Browse an incredible selection of original paintings, sculptures, photography, furniture, jewelry, mixed media, and more, with artwork available at a variety of price points for every collector.
Beyond the art, the festival offers a full weekend of entertainment and community. Enjoy live art demonstrations, two entertainment stages, family-friendly activities, local food and refreshments, making the Lakeview East Festival of the Arts one of Chicago’s premier neighborhood celebrations.

Clark Street Live
September 26th and 27th
Clark Street Live is bringing two days of music, dancing, food, drinks, and full-on Wrigleyville energy to the shadow of the ballpark.
Join us September 26 and 27 as Clark Street comes alive with great live music, neighborhood favorites, local businesses, and that unmistakable Lakeview East festival magic. Come for the bands, stay for the drinks, wander the block, dance a little, eat something delicious, and soak up one of Chicago’s best entertainment corridors doing what it does best.

Little Monster’s Crawl
Saturday, October 31 from 11 am to 2 pm
Lakeview East beware, on Halloween the neighborhood will be full of little monsters demanding candy! From 11 am to 2 pm our businesses will be giving out treats and candy for a neighborhood wide trick-or-treat. Go from business to business and collect as much as you can carry! Map of participating businesses coming soon.

November 1st – December 21st
