CHICAGO MARATHON STREET CLOSURES

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon will involve extensive street closures on Sunday, October 8, 2017. Please see below for street closure information in Lakeview East and alternative travel routes. The Marathon starts 7:30am.

 

STREET CLOSURES:

Mile 6 – Stockton Dr.: LaSalle Dr. to Fullerton Dr. 7 a.m. 11:45 a.m.

Mile 6 – Fullerton Dr.: Stockton Dr. to Cannon Dr. 7 a.m. 11:45 a.m.

Mile 7 – Cannon Dr.: Fullerton Dr. to Sheridan Rd. 7 a.m. 11:45 a.m.

Mile 7 – Sheridan Rd.: Diversey Pkwy. to Belmont Ave. 7 a.m. 11:45 a.m.

Mile 8 – Inner Lakeshore Dr.: Belmont Ave. to Addison St. 7 a.m. 12:00 p.m.

Mile 8 – Addison St.: Inner Lakeshore Dr. to Broadway St. 7 a.m. 12:00 p.m.

Mile 9 – Broadway St.: Addison St. to Diversey Pkwy. 7 a.m. 12:00 p.m.

Mile 10 – Clark St.: Diversey Pkwy. to Webster Ave. 7 a.m. 12:30 p.m.

 

AVAILABLE STREET ROUTES:

North of the Loop Michigan Ave. north of 8th St. North- and southbound lanes will remain open including access to the Magnificent Mile.

Clybourn Ave. will remain open.

Lincoln Ave. north of Sedgwick St. will remain open.

Clark St. north of Diversey Pkwy. will remain open.

Lake Shore Drive North – and southbound lanes will remain open.

Inner Lake Shore Drive North – and southbound lanes will remain open.

Diversey Pkwy. to Belmont Ave. Access to Lake Shore Dr. – will remain open at Belmont Ave.
