The 13 bars of Wrigleyville Popping Up this Holiday Season!


Wrigleyville will be fully decked out for Christmas this year with many holiday pop-ups sure to cater to your longing to celebrate the Christmas season for the weeks leading up to (and even some afterward) the holidays. There will be THIRTEEN, yes you read that right, THIRTEEN bars and restaurants in Wrigleyville popping up in glorious amounts of holiday decor and cheer. No need to go searching for them all – we’ve got that part covered for you!

Experience the true spirit of Christmas with one of everyone’s favorite Christmas characters, Rudolph! There are multiple bars, Grinch’s Piano Bar, Frosty’s Rooftop, Rudolph’s Lounge & more; character appearances include Rudolph, The Grinch, Frosty, Santa & more. The Claus Cause: partnering with Toys for Tots and will have donation bins on-site for daily collection

A country-style Christmas, the all-ages, no-cover popup will feature special menus, massive holiday décor, and three floors of festivities for a season-long celebration. There will be several giant Christmas trees and Santas, as well as two enormous rocking chairs, perfect for a photo op. See Santa take off in his reindeer run sleigh and roast marshmallows while Christmas movies play on the screens.

Throughout this holiday season, Chicago’s favorite craft brew den Lucky Dorr will transform into Lucky Lodge, a festive Winterland destination with special décor, the aroma of hot apple cider and rustic comfort galore.

Following his shifts at the Gallagher Way workshop, Santa will head over to Lucky Lodge for Jolly Hour. Guests age 21 and over – but young at heart – are invited to snap their photo with Mr. Klaus. Jolly Hour will be held from 8 to 9 p.m. on Fridays, and 5 to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through December 22.

Winterland includes the return of the famous Christkindlmarket Wrigleyville, ice skating on an 8,000-square-foot ice rink, curling and skating lessons, Santa’s Workshop, wreath making classes, oversized decorative winter characters, holiday movies and much more. This year’s transformation will include a 30-foot holiday tree underneath the Wrigley Field Marquee, a tree lot at Big Star Wrigleyville, holiday programming at Hotel Zachary, Hush Money, Lucky Dorr, Smoke Daddy Wrigleyville and other restaurants around Gallagher Way, plus even more decorative lights around Gallagher Way.
