Nori Sushi, owned by Pat Vasu, is one of three Nori Sushi locations in Chicago. Pat is from Thailand and immigrated to the United States to begin her business. Nori Sushi has been a Chicago staple since 2009 when the original owners opened the Lakeview location right under the Diversey Brown Line station. After retiring in 2018, Pat took over the Lakeview location.

Nori Sushi has a full-service bar, complete with a menu of signature craft cocktails. If you want something a little less boozy, their menu also includes non-alcoholic options such as loose-leaf tea and soft drinks. Their menu, created by the executive chef and husband to the owner, Win Vasu, combines traditional Japanese cuisine and modern American sushi. They also have a separate section in the menu for vegans and vegetarians, so even veg-heads can enjoy! Spoil your guests at your next event, as Nori Sushi also provides catering, with different sizing and pricing options for any occasion.

If getting to the physical restaurant is difficult, there is always the option to order delivery. The easiest way to order online is through their website. They offer delivery through Uber Eats and Doordash, as well as personal delivery from Uwapat Vasunirachorn herself within a mile radius if you order from their website. There are always promo codes on their website, as well.

Nori Sushi is open 7 days a week for dinner. They have Happy Hour specials from 4 pm- 6 pm Mondays to Saturdays, all day Sundays from 1 pm-9:30 pm. They offer lunch on Sundays only. If you want to use their space for a private party, they offer that, as well. Reservations are also allowed and encouraged.
