The Colette Collection, founded and owned by Lauren Rubbelke, has been nestled at 2858 N. Clark Street since 2016. With affordable pieces of women’s fashion and accessories, The Colette Collection has been a favorite of many women in Lakeview East since its inception.
Lauren is always making sure her customers receive the best deals and service. She hosts live Facebook and Instagram sales to connect virtually with her customers and offer them great prices, she regularly participates in local neighborhood events, and she even collaborates with other Lakeview East businesses from time to time.
The COVID-19 pandemic affected The Colette Collection hard, not unlike many other local small businesses. A lot of time was then shifted to focus on online sales and generating even more virtual content to still connect “face-to-face” with customers outside of physically coming into the store. Thankfully, the transition for The Colette Collection was easier than for some businesses, since they were already doing a great job with social media marketing and online sales.
Since The Colette Collection and all other retail stores are now able to reopen for indoor shopping, Lauren has done an awesome job of putting all COVID-19 precautionary guidelines into place to make sure customers have a safe and comfortable shopping experience. Watch below!
