One of the best things about Chicago Summers are the street festivals! The streets close off to traffic, and allow dancing, eating, and drinking to take place instead. The Belmont Sheffield Music Festival is one of the FIRST events to kick off festival season. Like always, we have a great lineup of bands playing on two stages this year. 16 Candles

16 Candles has been keeping it tubular since 2003. Just like you may have guessed from the band name, 16 Candles celebrates everything epic about the 80s! This 80s dance party will be playing your favorite jams from one of the most iconic eras.16 Candles makes it their personal duty and pleasure to bring all the great 80’s songs you love to life in full force. Come party with them on Friday night!

Greg Haus- A Tribute to Berlin Nightclub

Greg Haus is a Chicago DJ has been a respected part of Chicago’s electronic music scene since the 90s. His sound is edgy but accessible, drawing inspiration from the fringes of club culture to blend some of the most unique and infectious mixes of music you’ll hear anywhere in the United States. This special set is dedicated to Berlin Nightclub, a Chicago staple that was a safe place for the LGBTQ+ community for more than four decades. DJ Greg Haus was a resident DJ at Berlin, so this set is very special to his heart. Come dance and help pay tribute to one of the most iconic nightclubs we have ever known.

Moon and the Man

Genre-blending and fun, The Moon & The Man is comprised of an Alien from the planet Funk, and a Deity of Groove. You have to guess which one is which. Currently based in the Midwest, The Moon & The Man have shows that are a monthly staple in Chicago and Cincinnati. With tunes reminiscent of the golden age of soul, and grooves that call forth a new future. The Moon & The Man cross genres, time and space to enter an atmosphere of groovy, soulful vibes.


School of Rock

Mark “Muleman” Massey

Mark “Mule Man” Massey’s journey embodies the transformative power of the blues. Growing up in Clarksdale, Mississippi, he was surrounded by its music but fully grasped its essence during a stint in Parchman Prison, where he befriended David Kimbrough and joined the prison band. Determined to channel his experience positively, Massey embarked on a career as a blues guitarist and singer, playing tirelessly across northern Mississippi and earning recognition at prestigious venues like B.B. King’s and “Ground Zero.” Supported by fellow musicians like Blind Mississippi Morris, Massey carries on the legacy of blues masters, driven by a deep desire to keep their music alive.

Classical Blast blurs musical lines, melding well known classical music into classic rock hits or rocking music by Beethoven, Bach, Mozart and composers from other centuries, sometimes adding original lyrics or introducing symphonic elements into their own music. From Bach to classic rock to metal and beyond, we hope you’ll find our approach to music a refreshing change. It’s the past, present & future brought together in perfect harmony! Fletcher Rockwell

With classic Americana-tinged rock & roll steeped in the blue-collar charm of their hometown, Chicago’s Fletcher Rockwell has been building a loyal fanbase throughout the Midwest since 2009. While widely known for their original songs, the group is also revered for clever versions of the most popular cover music, spanning everything from vintage Tom Petty, Paul Simon and Talking Heads to contemporary roots revivalists Chris Stapleton, Dawes and Mumford & Sons.

TiMELeSS is a powerhouse band that seamlessly blends blues-rock, soul, funk, and R&B into a timeless and dynamic sound. With roots firmly planted in the rich musical heritage of Chicago’s Southland, TiMELeSS is carving out its own legacy as the next generation of music makers. They take the best of multiple genres across decades and infuses it with its own unique style, creating a thrilling musical experience that transcends time and genre. With an energetic, fiery, and soulful feel-good performance, complete with a full horn section, these guys are ready to rock out on Saturday.

Four Star Brass Band

There ain’t no party like a Four Star party. The Four Star Brass Band is excited to bring Louisiana sizzle to BSMF! This high-energy group is bringing heir trumpets, tubas, trombones, French horns, and good vibes to the Belmont Stage. Although they are named Four Star Brass Band, their performances are always five stars!

Full Volume Band

Strap in and prepare for a rock ‘n’ roll rollercoaster ride with the electrifying Full Volume Band. Starlight City

Amanda Coppotelli

Amanda is no stranger to Lakeview. She’s performed in the neighborhood over a dozen times, at the Lakeview East Festival of the Arts, local bars and restaurants, and even the Belmont Sheffield Music Fest! She is a Chicago-born and raised vocalist whose style encompasses a stylish blend of jazz, blues and classic rock. Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Etta James, The Rolling Stones, Ray Charles and Amy Winehouse. A brief snapshot of the energetic set Amanda prepares to seamlessly blends genres, moods and emotions for a crowd engaging experience.

Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press

Our Saturday night headliner hardly needs a introduction. We are SO excited to welcome back to the main stage Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press! These Midwest legends are well-known for their electrifying performances. With a focus on bone-crushing 3 part harmonies, laser-sharp musicianship, and a top tier light show, RTCBP is a live performance powerhouse. Make sure you add them to your weekend agenda!

La Obra

La Obra is aoriginal Latin band from Humboldt Park! They perform all of the most popular tropical dance styles with their original music. Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton, and Reggae. They also fuse all of those genres together within each song, transitioning smoothly from style to style. Then they add a touch of Rock to the mix and you get the La Obra sound that they are very proud of. Another key to their story is  to take top 40 songs and flip them into the La Obra style they’ve created. This allows them to connect with people on their favorite songs as well as share their original music.


The 77 Solution

If there’s one thing The 77 Soution knows, it’s that rock music is a good time, ESPECIALLY rock music from the late 70s. Start off your Sunday with some good old classic rock music!

Stevie McVie

Stevie McVie is a premier Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac tribute band, celebrating and performing legendary songs with passion, precision, and just a little bit of magic. They connect to their audience with a show that is fresh and energetic. They also perform songs by artists with “six degrees of separation” from Fleetwood Mac and Stevie, including Don Henley and Tom Petty. Powerhouse vocals and instrumental artistry light an unforgettable emotional spark. Come sing along with this groovy trio on Sunday afternoon.

Downtown Charlie Brown Blues Band

The Downtown Charlie Brown Blues Band, a local band out of Chicagoland is one of the hottest blues bands in the Chicago area. Playing a mixture of R&B, Delta, New Orleans and Chicago style Blues as well as well as Jazz and a taste of Rock and Roll has kept them gigging on a weekly basis for over 20 years. The phenomenal voice of Dee Dee Hardy and rugged bluesy voice of Charlie Brown will keep the crowd rockin! Their unique sound and style provide a night of fun and entertainment that can not be beat.

Band Calderisi

Renegade Wildflower

Focused on quality and consistency Renegade Wildflower brings an undeniable show with some of the best professional sound, lighting, and live musicianship available in the Midwest. Their playlist features songs from artists like Fleetwood Mac, Lynrd Skynrd, The Allman Brothers, and more!

Goose Corp

Goose Corp is a three piece psychedelic rock-jam band from Chicago, blending a number of influences rooted in folk, blues, and dance/electronica. Formed in 2014 by members Phil Sciurba, Andrew “Goose” Giese, and Matt Schirk, Goose Corp has evolved into a songwriting powerhouse as heard in their most recent release, “Jumbled Thoughts”.
