May 11th, May 12th Professional Bouquet Maker: Foursided will be hosting a pop-up for floral artists Floriography Fellows (@the_floriography_fellows) at the 2958 N Clark St location! Come by and grab a whimsical bespoke bouquet made by hand while you pick out the perfect card and gift for the mom in your life. They will be there from 11 am to 3 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

May 12th, French Baking Party: Come celebrate Mother’s Day and learn basic French Cakes and Cake Creams with The Cakemaker! Zoran, owner of the Cakemaker will teach you how to make some amazing classic French and European desserts! Amaze your friends and wow your family at your next gathering! In this class everyone will work in teams of 4-5. Zoran will teach the basics of French and European cakes and cake creams. You will learn how to make: Genoise cakes, Dacquoise cakes, Crème Patisserie, and Diplomat Cream!

Zoran, owner of The Cakemaker, has been whipping up delicious desserts for more than 20 years. While known for his European style wedding and other specialty cakes, he also shares his knowledge of a wide variety of cookies and pastries. May 12th: Mother’s Day Drag Brunch: Do you call her mother? Join Joan Jullian on Mother’s Day from 11 a.m. to 3 pm for a fabulous drag brunch at Lark!
