This Thanksgiving, you’re invited to join Cesar’s Killer Margaritas in spreading holiday cheer throughout the Chicago community. As a family-owned favorite, located in the Lakeview community, Cesar’s is passionate about giving back, and their annual Turkey Drive is one of the biggest ways they support families during the season. Last year, Cesar’s was able to provide Thanksgiving dinners to 2,000 families in need. This year, with the help of donations, they’re aiming to double that impact and feed 4,000 families!

Pick-up information for families in need: November 23rd at 9 am

Pickup Locations: Chicago pickup at Northeastern Illinois University Parking Lot – 5480 N. St Louis Ave.
Wheeling pickup at St Joseph The Worker – 181 W. Dundee Rd.

Turkey pickups are first come, first served, with one turkey per family, while supplies last. So be sure to arrive early!

Ann Sather Restaurant: Craving an early dinner? Dinner is available starting at 11 am! Ann Sather’s special Thanksgiving menu includes Chicken vegetable soup, roasted turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes and giblet gravy, fresh seasonal vegetables, cranberry sauce, assorted homemade bread, homemade apple, pumpkin, or walnut chocolate chip pie with whipped cream. The Chicago Diner: Looking to celebrate Thanksgiving, but don’t eat meat? Luckily, Lakeview East is home to one of Chicago’s oldest vegan diners! Thanksgiving Carryout Preorders are available in single Entrées, Dinners, and Family Packs. You may also order larger quantities of corned-beef and Italian-style seitan, stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes, mashed regular potatoes, gravy, jalapeño corn fritters, and Mac ‘n Teese. AND, cakes whole or by the slice as well as whole pumpkin and apple pies. They’ve even sorted our Thanksgiving options for gluten-friendly folks.
