We did the hard work for you! Here is a list of all the specials in the area in honor of the Fourth of July weekend. Soak up every second of this weekend!

The Irish Oaks Farewell Weekend

The Irish Oak

3511 N Clark St

The news that shocked Chicago: The Irish Oak is closing it’s doors. This Irish pub has been a staple establishment in Wrigleyville for decades and we are heartbroken to see them go. It’s only right to spend their final days drinking Jameson, sharing a Guiness, and thanking their outstanding staff for years of great service. They are closing their doors July 3rd, so be sure to stop in before then. Thanks for all the memories, we will think of you every time we’re on Clark Street.

Hot Stove Cool Music

The Metro

3730 N Clark St

It’s back and greater than ever! The annual fundraiser Hot Stove Cool Music is celebrating its 20th anniversary right here in Wrigley. Celebrating music, baseball, and giving, this event has been raising money and awareness to The Foundation to Be Named Later for two decades now. “Foundation To Be Named Later brings people together who share a passion and purpose to invest in young people and the organizations that support them in the cities we love. Our communities’ shared passions for music and baseball are the backdrop for our legendary fundraisers which generate support for our nonprofit partners and our Peter Gammons College Scholars.” Head over to The Metro this Friday, and see over a dozen live musicians, including Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Mavis Staples! Other acts include Juliana Hatfield , Ted Leo, Scott Lucas, Kay Hanley, Gail Greenwood with Peter Gammons, and a dozen more. Doors are at 7 pm, and are priced at $75 per person.
