Located in Hotel Zachary, Big Star is a huge hub for tacos and Mexican street fare. They offer margaritas the way they should be served, by the pitcher! This two-story taco haven is a great place to celebrate Cinco De Mayo.

The name Chilam Balam loosely translates to “Book of the Jaguar Priest” in the Mayan language. Chilam Balam is a sustainably-minded BYOB restaurant serving Mexican shared plates with a farm fresh twist. On Cinco De Mayo, they will be seling some off the menu items they usually don’t have! They will be open from 5 to 10 pm, and reservations are required.

They have all the Cinco De Mayo necessities, from fajitas and enchiladas, to Chimichangas. If you feel like going big, their Taco Party Tray comes with 10 tacos of your choice for just $29.99 (we don’t judge your taco intake). Finish your meal strong with their homemade Dulce De Leche.
Open from 10 am till midnight, so there’s plenty of time to get your fix in.
