Easter is just a few short weeks away, on April 9th this year! Passover begins on Wednesday, April 5th. If you want to avoid cooking, cleaning, and hosting, our local restaurants and bakeries have you covered. See where you can go to celebrate both Easter and Passover in LVE!
Dining on Opening Day
Almost Home Tavern
When you’re at Almost Home, you’ll feel right at home! They are open ALL DAY on Easter, from 11 am till closing at 2 am. They’ll be serving brunch until 3 pm. In celebration, they have $15 mimosa pitchers, $25 seltzer buckets, and half-off pizza after 6 pm. There will also be special appearances from the Easter Bunny!

Ann Sather
Ann Sather Restaurants have special Easter deals! For $28.95, choose any of the following entrees, and they all include vegetable soup, fresh seasonal vegetables, sweet potatoes or mashed potatoes, and a dessert!
Entrée choices include: roasted leg of lamb, fresh salmon, beef tenderloin with grilled mushrooms, baked ham, and roasted tom turkey.
Barcocina
Barcocina is open all day for brunch and dinner! Click here to see their brunch menu, and click here to see their dinner menu. Brunch will be running from 11 am to 3 pm, and dinner will begin after!

Big City Tap
Your go-to late-night destination will be open all day on Easter! Big City will be open from 11 am to 4 am, with their full kitchen operating. Specials include: $10 fajita dinner, $8 Bloody Mary’s, $8 Chicago Handshakes, and $4 glasses of wine.
Cere’s Table
Cere’s Table will be open on Easter for dinner, from 5 to 9 pm! They will have their full dinner menu available, and some specials in honor of Easter.

Drew’s on Halsted

Smoke Daddy
Get smoked! Smoke Daddy will be open and serving their bottomless mimosa brunch, starting at 10 am. They’ll also be open for dinner, until 9 pm! Make reservations here.

Swift and Sons
Swift and Sons will be open for a special brunch menu. Each guest can indulge in one savory brunch entrée, along with sides and an assortment of delectable pastries served family-style. The complete beverage menu will be available for purchase à la carte! Make your reservation today.

Wilde
Wilde will be opening at 11 am, and have a special menu available! See below to see their Easter features. Wilde has daily chefs specials, usually beginning at 5 pm but on Easter they will be starting at 2 pm.

Hoppy Easter Drag Brunch
Lark Chicago is hosting a Hoppy Easter Drag Brunch on Saturday, April 8th, and Sunday, April 9th!
From 11 am to 3 pm, enjoy free-flowing, bottomless mimosas, bloody marys, bellinis, sangrias, Nutrl Seltzers, and House of Love canned cocktails! Pixel will be your Easter queen during the weekend. Don’t miss out on this hoppy event!

Four Sided Easter Egg Hunt
All Four Sided locations are participating in store-wide Easter Egg Hunts! Participate in the hunt and you could win some candy, a 10%-20% item discount, or even a $25 gift card. Kids, adults, & pets of all ages are invited to join in on the fun! The hunt is on from April 2nd – 6th.

Bittersweet Pastry & Cafe
Bittersweet had a little lamb… cake! Bittersweet has all the sweets you need for Easter. They have an adorable Easter bunny cake, a classic lamb cake, and more to offer on their special Easter menu!

Klein’s Bakery & Café
Klein’s will be open their regular business hours on Easter! Hop on in anytime from 7:30 am to 7 pm. Grab your Easter crew some specialty lattes to go, and some homemade pastries! Order in advance to assure your sweets will be ready for pick up come Easter morning. Click here to view their menus!

Kilwin’s
Kilwins has everything you need to surprise and delight your little Easter Bunny seeker on Easter morning. Kilwins is selling premade baskets, so you don’t have to do any of the work, just pick it up! Their also selling chocolate bunnies, s you can pick up an entire herd if you want too.

Windy City Sweets
Windy City Sweets creates homemade chocolate goodies every week! Their Easter selection consists of chocolate bunnies, crosses, and more. They also have a year round jelly bean wall, another traditional Easter treat!

West Town Bakery
West Town Bakery has adorable and delicious Easter goodies! Go for the classic key lime pie, or get the little ones some bunny cookies and sprinkle bunny donuts. See the full menu here!

Passover
The Bagel Restaurant and Deli
The Bagel is offering their Traditional Passover Dinner for Easter!
Diners will get their choice of an appetizer plus a chopped egg and onion salad or chopped liver, gefilte fish with horseradish and golden chicken broth with a matzoh ball.
Entrée choices include oven-roasted brisket of beef, roasted tender spring chicken, one-half fresh broiled wile Lake Superior whitefish and sweet-and-sour meatballs in a savory sauce.
Carrot-sweet potato and prune trzimmes, green beans and onions almondine and oven-baked matzoh dressing is also on the menu! This special dinner always includes coffee, tea, or a fountain beverage, and costs $39.95 per person!
