In celebration of the 19th Annual Lakeview East Festival of the Arts, we are thrilled to announce a special Magnet Scavenger Hunt happening now through the Festival dates on September 14th & 15th. This is your chance to explore the neighborhood, support local businesses, and collect a limited edition magnet, all while enjoying the vibrant art scene Lakeview East has to offer.

How to Participate:

  • Shop Local: From now until the end of the Festival, visit participating locations around Lakeview East. With every purchase at these spots, you will receive a free, limited-edition magnet, but only while supplies last!
  • Find the Magnets: Look for these unique magnets at various beloved local businesses, each with its own distinct flair. The clues below will guide you to the right places to snag your collectible magnet

CLUES:

  • A charming women’s boutique near Clark and Diversey that frequently hosts fashion show nights.

  • A high-end men’s fashion boutique on Broadway, cleverly named with the owner’s name spelled backward.

  • A popular bottle shop that has won the title of Chicago’s Best Wine Shop and is celebrating its 5th anniversary.

  • A comic book store that recently relocated from Broadway to Sheffield and has collectables

  • A historic music store near the Belmont El, known for celebrity album signings since 1988.

  • A cozy coffee shop on Diversey, exuding vintage vibes from the 1920s.

  • A framing shop who opened last year in the space where Rare, Medium, and Well Done books were found for 30+ years

  • Chicago’s Oldest Comic Book Store, located on Clark Street that even carries self published comics
