Northalsted Market Days August 10th & 11th

Northalsted Market Days® is a weekend long, live music street festival celebrating community in Chicago’s landmark Northalsted/Lakeview neighborhood. The 1/2 mile long summer festival features all-day lineups of live music on 5 stages, 250+ vendors, food and drink, dance exhibitions, drag performance, and more!

When & Where: Saturday, August 10th and Sunday, August 11th from 11 am to 10 pm both days. Happening on Halsted Street from Belmont to Addison!

Many of our Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce members host parties, special deals, and more in celebration of Market Days. Here is what is going on before, during, and after the festival!

In true Northalsted fashion, the neighborhood is not waiting until the weekend to celebrate. Some bars and restaurants are getting the party started early!

Charlie’s: Come on down to Charlie’s for Twisted T’s Happy Hour! $4 U-Call-It draft beer pitches, cocktails, AND shots, from 4 to 7 pm. There’s always a party at Charlie’s!

CRAM Fashion: CRAM is hosting it’s Annual Market Days kickoff party on Thursday night, from 8 pm to 10 pm. Fierce bartenders will serve complimentary cocktails, and amazing raffle prizes will be awarded at the end of the night, with 10% of the evenings proceeds being donated to the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. Drew’s on Halsted: Stop by this neighborhood favorite restaurant and indulge in their Thursday Special, $10 Martinis, Lemon Drops, and Cosmos!

Kit Kat Lounge: Every night Monday through Thursday, Kit Kat Happy hour is from 5 to 7 pm, with $8.95 martinis, plus 25% off appetizers, and $4 house red or white wine! On Thursday, Kit Kat Diva and Chicago legend Kinley Preston will perform about every 20 minutes from 6pm – midnight.

Lark: Get your game on before the weekend! Lark hosts Xtreme Bingo every Thursday night at 7 pm, hosted by Vivian Dejour. Win really epic prizes like TVS, fire pits, Amazon gift cards, and more. El Taco Cart: El Taco Cart is located right at the corner of Belmont and Halsted, and will have a booth at the festival, as well as the restaurant open! Hydrate Nightclub: Hydrate is hosting H2Glow all weekend. On Friday night International DJ and Producer Orel Sabag makes his Hydrate debut! Inspired by Brazilian tribal sounds and high-beat vocals, he’s bound to bring the heat at H2Glow this Market Days! The set starts at 10 pm and late night party to 4 am. Lark: Lark After Dark is happening Friday, with deals that are hard to beat! Come prepare for a busy weekend with $5 Bud Lights, $6 Red and White wines, $7 well cocktails, NUTRL seltzers, and Hornitos tequila seltzers. Groove to club remixes, with happy hour all night long.

Roscoe’s: Friday night is the one year anniversary of Friday Night Lights! Celebrate by attending the anniversary show at 10 pm with hosts Batty Davis and Kara Mel D’Ville!

Savanna Restaurant: Savanna typically closes at 3 pm, but with all the hungry partygoers coming into town this weekend, they are staying open until 9 pm Friday night! Reward yourself during a long weekend with delicious Latin cuisine. They will have the full menu available till close, which means you can enjoy their award-winning breakfast all night long.

Sidetrack: Start your weekend with Show Tunes! Doors open early Friday, August 9, at 1 pm for Market Days Weekend. Sing along to Show Tunes from 3-8 pm then stay for our Friday Night Dance Party till 2 am! No Cover…it’s Sidetrack!

Shaker’s on Clark: Shaker’s offers 26 different Long Island flavors, all of which are perfect to warm your vocal cords. Shaker’s is hosting karaoke on Friday night from 9:30 pm to 1:30 am! Shoot some pool while you’re there, and help yourself to complimentary popcorn.

The Annoyance Theater: This Saturday is the last performance of Steamworks the Musical! The show doesn’t begin until 8 pm giving you enough time to enjoy the festival during the day. Tickets are only $20 and are on sale now! Get tickets here

Drew’s on Halsted: What better way to prepare for Market Days than with bottomless brunch on the festival grounds? Drew’s is located right at the Belmont and Halsted entrance , and they open at 10:30 am for their bottomless mimosa brunch. They will also have a booth at the festival all weekend, serving up sandwiches, chipotle chicken, pulled pork, angus burgers, hot dogs, elote, and corn on the cob! They also have drinks at the booth available like beer, seltzers, wines, sodas, and redbull.

D.S Tequila Co: Dusty Carpenter & Mistir Presents: The SuperMarket Party at D.S Tequila Co! They have an amazing DJ lineup, CO2, confetti cannons, and so many more surprises for 2024. The music Lineup consists of Matt Suave, DIOX, Apollo XO, Spencer Huff, Martin, Miss DJ Meg, Doggpound, Kyle House, and Michael Navarro. For this extravaganza, Replay is taking over the neighboring lot with a full bar and a stage highlighting some of the best DJs and electrifying performers! Entertainment starts at noon and goes on all night. Skip the line with a fast pass, which you can get here

ROCKS Lakeview: ROCKS is opening earlier than usual to celebrate both Market Days and the Air & Water Show! They open at 11 am, with $25 bottomless mimosa brunch until 3 pm, $5 jello shots and espresso martini shots, and spin the wheel shots.

Roscoe’s: Roscoe’s is throwing a star-studded Market Slayz party. Hosted by Batty Davis and Kara Mel D’Ville, featuring Rupaul’s Drag Race alumni Jaida Essence Hall, Aquaria, Nicky Doll, La Grande Dame, Kimora Blac, and Denali! Performances begin at 5 pm, and general admission passes will be available at the door.

Sidetrack: Sidetrack is opening its doors early at 11 am, the same time Market Days starts. Enjoy drag and games in the afternoon, and join the dance party from 8 pm to 3 am! There’s never a cover at Sidetrack, but there is a rooftop where you can oversee the fest. Get sidetrack’d!

Shaker’s on Clark: Shaker’s is less than a five minute walk from the festival. Come on down and sing karaoke with your festie besties from 10:30 pm all the way to 2:20 am!

Lark: Lark is hosting Market Days Drag Brunch on Sunday, with Venus Carangi and Keri Traid! There are two seatings open, 11 am and 1:30 pm. Your brunch starts with a choice of bottomless drinks- Mimosa, Bellini, Bloody Mary, Sangria, and Nutrl Vodka Seltzers. You can switch and change during the course of your brunch package. Sidetrack: Sidetrack is opening early at 11 am! From 1 to 6 pm they will be playing Special Show Tunes, and then there will be a Sunday Funday After Dark Dance Party happening until 2 am.
