Chicago! It is time to experience Bowie Ball, where we celebrate the legend, the chameleon, and the man… David Bowie. Bowie Ball, Chicago’s glam and drag dance party, celebrates the life and legend of David Bowie on what would have been his 76th Birthday. So get into the spirit with us – glam it up, dress like a dandy and let’s love the alien with some glitter on top. Featured artists and performers for the night include Heaven Malone, Bowiesque drag performances by Lucy Stoole, Nico, Mick Douch, and Sally Marvel.

Drag Race Alumni Perform Live

Start your engines! A new season of Rupaul’s Drag Race is airing this Friday night, and Roscoe’s is hosting a viewing party! At 7 pm, watch the show live with an enthusiastic crowd for the much anticipated season 15. Special guests for the evening are Drag Race alumni Denali and Willow Pill! Also performing are the beloved hosts, Naysha Lopez, Batty Davis & Kara Mel D’Ville. Performances start at 10:30 pm!

Coyote Ugly Drag Brunch

D.S Tequila hosts a Coyote Ugly Drag Brunch every Sunday! There are two seating times, 11 am and 1 pm. Hosted by Platinum Carrington and Pepper, this show is a guaranteed good time!

Holiday Tree Recycling

It should be all of our New Year’s resolutions to be more sustainable. Start with recycling your Christmas tree! Alderman Tom Tunney will be collecting Holiday trees for recycling this Saturday and Sunday. Please leave your tree in the alley, NOT THE PARKWAY (unless you have curb-side recycling and trash pickup), by Friday, January 6th. If you wish to participate, it’s as easy as one, two, tree! Just fill out this attached form to register.

“The first Friday of the month only means one thing: First Friday tastings at our local wine haven BottlesUp! Join in between 5:30-7 pm to try fun bottles, view new art, and cheers to the beginning of a new month (or in this case, a new year!). Participating in Dry January? Experience an evening of Dungeons and Dragons as professional Dungeon Masters lead you in a D&D One Shot Adventure or a chapter of GM Jacob’s Drop-in Drop-out Tyranny of Dragons Campaign. No prior experience or preparation is needed as our Dungeon Masters are dedicated to teaching you how to play!

Choose one of the pre-created characters and start your adventure! $25 reserves you a seat at a table with one of our world class Dungeon Masters for up to 4 hours. Tables can fit up to six players so bring your adventuring party or forge new allies by joining other adventurers.

Seating for the event starts at 3:30pm – please arrive early to get seated, start a tab and be ready for gameplay to start right at 4pm!

Dance on Broadway Open House

Is your little one looking for a new activity? Dance on Broadway is hosting an open house this Saturday with FREE classes so they can try before you buy!

Class Schedule:

Lovebug Tots – 12:00-12:30 PM

Lovebug Hip Hop – 12:00-12:30 PM

Mini Ballet/Jazz – 1:00-1:30 PM

Jazz 1 – 1:00-1:30 PM

Hip Hop 2 – 1:00-1:30 PM

No registration in advance is necessary. Come tour the space, ask any questions you may have, and see what Dance on Broadway is all about! The open house runs from noon to 2 pm.
