Labor Day Weekend Happenings, September 2 – 5
The simple words getting you through this week: Three Day Weekend.
Monday is Labor Day, usually known as the official end of summer. Although bitter-sweet, we all deserve this three day weekend to properly close out one of the most eventful summers we’ve had in years. Whether you use this time for relaxation or to go ALL out, here is how you can spend the long weekend locally.
Brickhouse Tavern
Friday: Kick off the weekend with $6 Tito’s mules and $6 Tito’s John Daly!
Sunday: During Cub’s away games, Brickhouse hosts Away Game Brunch! This Saturday and Sunday, watch the Cubbies at Brickhouse and get the $30 all-you-can-eat buffet, and treat yourself to $20 bottomless mimosas.
El Nuevo Mexicano
This Clark Street Spanish spot usually opens at 4 pm on Mondays, but in honor of the holiday, El Nuevo is opening at 2 pm on Monday! Enjoy extended happy hour and dinner bundles. Vegan and gluten-free options are available so everyone can enjoy!
Berlin Nightclub
Berlin has two great shows this weekend! Friday night is STRAPPED. Dance all night from 10 pm to 4 am, and cheer on performers. The Saturday Night Drag Show is back! From 10pm to 2am, dance your heart out and support local queens! There will be a live DJs both nights. Both shows are $10 each!
